Changing Displays in the Library

When the Museum is open we will continue our tradition of highlighting aspects of Harpenden’s history from our archive collections with temporary exhibitions. Displays in the museum will also be changed from time to time, but instead of being available for just two hours once a quarter, these will be on show for several weeks/months.

Details will be published here, and will also be advertised in our Display Cabinets in Harpenden Library.

Library display cabinets

Since the opening of Harpenden Library on the Lower High Street in July 2013, the Society has the use of two glass display stands, by courtesy of Hertfordshire County Library Service. These cabinets are not easy to use, but David Keen aims to continue devising frequent changing displays.
