Harpenden residents were called to serve in both world wars, and the Memorial on Church Green, dedicated in 1920, pays tribute to those who died in both wars. Many families were affected, and maybe they have records and memories to share.
Civilian life was also affected, and we hope to add more accounts of what 'you did in the war'.
